NIKKI CANALICHIO
BIBLE TRANSLATION CONSULTANT
NIKKI CANALICHIO
BIBLE TRANSLATION CONSULTANT
Scriptura develops practical tools for Bible translators. In this role, I connect Scriptura with the broader translation community and support translators who use and help refine these resources.
My work includes leading training workshops internationally, representing Scriptura at Bible translation conferences, and supervising and mentoring our intern, John Mayele. I also check the accuracy of Bible translations worldwide.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Scriptura is committed to creating resources that are genuinely useful for translators. That requires ongoing testing, feedback, and real-world application. Our workshops both contribute to research on translating biblical poetry and equip translators with methods they can apply in their own work.
WHAT YOUR SUPPORT MAKES POSSIBLE
- Training and collaboration with Bible translation practitioners worldwide, working with Scriptura and several other partner groups
