WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Bible translators working on the Psalms often face a stark choice: translate a poem they don’t fully understand, or leave it for later.
Scriptura exists to give them a third option — rigorous, accessible resources that equip them to work confidently with Hebrew poetry. But those resources have to be organized, updated, and made available.
Amanda’s role as Integrator is what keeps Scriptura’s output moving from research to the field, from scholarship to practice, and from the team’s work to the translators waiting to use it.
WHAT YOUR SUPPORT MAKES POSSIBLE
- Coordinated, well-functioning teams whose research reaches translators around the world through a well-maintained website and thoughtfully organized resources
- A bridge between Scriptura’s internal work and external partnerships that ensures the ministry’s output is accessible, current, and useful to the people it is designed to serve
- Practical, behind-the-scenes work that makes everything else possible — so that scholars can focus on scholarship and translators can focus on translation
Amanda’s work with Scriptura is funded through personal donor support. Gifts go to Scriptura and are designated toward Amanda Jarus staff support. If you would like to partner with her work, you can give using the form below.
